QR Utility Cummerbund

The QR Utility Cummerbund is designed to maximize the loadout capacity on the plate carrier’s sides. Its 5” height allows for a secure and stable application of the pouches, even of significant weight.

The base structure made out of Tegris® technopolymer is topped by LAHYCO composite fabric, provided with Multi-Dot MOLLE PALS system by FROG.PRO® which, besides pouches attachment, also allows for the addition of shock cords for retention of radio cables, chemlights or tourniquet.

The QR Utility Cummerbund is equipped with Quick Release ROC buckles in offset positions. This choice maximizes the frontal space for magazines or radio, which become easier to reach, and also avoids having to disconnect cables and connectors each time the cummerbund is opened.

The inside of the cummerbund, backed with Velcro® brand Velour loop fastener, makes possible to employ various types of inserts for radio or magazines (such as MBITR Velcro Insert, 7.62 Mag Velcro Insert, etc.) or pouches for side ballistic plates.

The adjustment through back shock cord, other than being fast and intuitive, permits the natural expansion of the rib cage during physical exertion.

The rear part of the cummerbund is equipped with interface for the new patented U. LOK magnetic system. Through the application of Fidlock® special plastic components with integrated magnets, a new level of modularity is achievable: the U.LOK system allows for instantaneous detachment and reattachment of panels and pouches usually mounted in inconvenient or hard to reach positions, thus enabling the operator to access the content in total autonomy, or to change configuration, in a single click.

The QR Utility Cummerbund is available in two sizes:

• the SM/MD size features 5 to 7 MOLLE PALS columns per side
• the LG/XL size features 7 to 9 MOLLE PALS columns per side
